One of the few things that folks here in Agusan del Norte (ADN) look forward to during the yuletide season is the Carmen Municipal Hall christmas lights decoration. It never fails to gather people from neighboring towns during this time of the year. It has become, somehow, like a local tourist attraction for folks here in ADN. In this year’s official lighting ceremony, people attended in droves giving some folks a taste of how traffic feels in Metro Manila. Parking, which is never a problem here, became a challenge especially for folks who came in cars with their family in tow. Enterprising folks have also opened bbq stalls in front of the Carmen Municipal Hall.
I went there earlier today along with a couple of friends to see how Carmen’s Municipal Hall looks like during daytime so I can compare it when all the lights are lit at night.
Below are the pictures I took using my smartphone.
